只要能张开眼睛，

每一天

都是我的新生之日，

都是我做人的开始。

When we can wake up and open our eyes,

each day is a birth of new life,

a new beginning to start our life afresh.

人在平安的时候，

很容易迷失自己。

偶尔有小挫折或坎坷，

反而能唤醒良知、

长养善根。

When life is safe and smooth,

we can easily lose our direction.

Yet even a small setback or misfortune

can awaken our conscience,

and nurture the seeds of kindness.
